Concur Update Replace the outdated and unsupported Paper Travel Claims expense process with Concur Travel – a modern, user-friendly, and scalable solution delivered by Concur Expense & Travel. Rollout Key Points 1. Utilize a hybrid phased rollout. Onboard select divisions in rolling waves, generally every month. 2. Provide super-user training to individuals from wide range of divisions in Sept 2018 and ongoing. 3. Provide transition training starting in Sept 2018 and continuing through release, supplemented with Online resources. 4. Ensure sufficient help desk support during rollout. 5. After initial divisions are operational and stable, rollout to remaining balance of campus in January 2019 Plan to retire Paper Travel Claims at the end of 2019.

CSU is prohibited from approving state-funded or state-sponsored travel Effective June 22, 2018, the bill added Oklahoma to the prohibited state list. Oklahoma will be the 9th state where state-funded or state-sponsored travel is prohibited. Other states under the travel restrictions: Alabama Kansas Kentucky Mississippi North Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas

Exceptions to the new travel prohibitions may be granted for the following purposes: Enforcement of California law, including auditing and revenue collection Litigation To meet contractual obligations incurred before January 1, 2017. To comply with requests by the federal government to appear before committees To participate in meetings or training required by a grant or required to maintain grant funding To complete job-required training necessary to maintain licensure or similar standards required for holding a position, in the event that comparable training cannot be obtained in California or a different state not subject to the travel prohibition For the protection of public health, welfare, or safety, as determined by the CSU or other state agencies
