Day 1 starts with attachment theory and as a global first using VR we explore developmental trauma through the eyes of the child. This is followed on day 2 by an introduction to PACE Parenting Skills, vs conventional parenting and problem solving, again using VR. This is followed by a series of 9 monthly webinars. They are designed to provide support, guidance and practical skills on adoptive/fostering family life. Our training is co-facilitated by a Therapist and a Cornerstone Adopter/Foster Carer and it’s aimed at Adopters, Foster Carers and Special Guardians, during assessment and post approval, as well as Professionals.
