The main tasks of Federation are: About Federation The Federation includes 18 regional organizations. The main tasks of Federation are: to participate in the process of forming and realization the state policy on employment, labour remuneration, labour protection, social security of employees, in other areas of socio-economic and labour relations to represent and protect the interests and legal rights of proprietors and their organizations in relationships with public authorities, local self-government bodies, trade unions, their associations and other organizations

The legislative initiatives: simplification the procedure on obtaining a permit for work with high risk reduction the state regulation in area of fire and technological security high dangerous objects identification harmonization with European requirements taking part in the process of working out of the new version of the Code of Ukraine on Bowels

Activities in the social sphere: Representatives of the Federation take part in the process of development and implementation of general and sectoral agreements between the social partners Representatives of the Federation are members of the Fund mandatory state social insurance against industrial accident and occupational disease of Ukraine

Training of trainers on occupational safety and health management in the mining and metallurgical sector in Ukraine

Ukrainian perspectives and challenges: searching possible legal ways of resolving of the issue on property rights for natural resources in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine ensuring safe operation of mining enterprises, which are engaged in development of oil and gas on the territory of the Crimea ensuring safe operation of mining enterprises, which are engaged in development of coal in the East of Ukraine
