What’s it all about? Earth Day takes place on the 22nd April, its a global event that takes place each year, in more than 192 countries. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of our planet and the impacts we are having on it. This year the focus is on Ending Plastic Pollution by Earth Day 2020, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. From poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering our beaches and landscapes to clogging our landfill sites, the growth of plastics is now threatening the survival of our planet.
