What is a need? Need – A requirement, necessary duty, or obligation to live, such as shelter, clothing, and food.

What is a want? Want - Things that people desire, not needed to survive. Wants are often mistaken for things we need.

Opportunities Opportunities – Using new or existing products and systems in new ways.

Problems and Opportunities The need and wants in todays society make it possible for new products or systems, devices, or structures. Opportunity of problems make room for better improvements and advancements.
