Research and Writing Skills for Dissertations and Projects: An Introduction Researching and presenting a final-year dissertation or project is a daunting and challenging process for many students.   Research and Writing Skills for Dissertation and Projects: An Introduction helps demystify the research process and provide students with practical tools to successfully plan, manage, and deliver their projects effectively. Students will learn ways to generate ideas, ask questions, complete a literature review, select and design the research approach, develop a coherent structure for presenting their findings, and develop the argument convincingly. The course will be relevant to students across all faculties, by providing examples and scenarios from a range of disciplines and can provide institutions with a consistent level of training to be given across campus.
