Solid-State NMR signal enhancement via DNP from endogenous flavin. Flavin in flavodoxin protein n 3T2 90° polarization Pulse sequence used for SS-NMR experiment with DNP 9-fold signal enhancement obtained, corresponding to 25-fold enhancement possible at infinite power. Dipolar interaction between electron spins of flavin semiquinone couple to nuclei nearby. Irradiation of electron spins permits transfer of polarization to nuclei, and observation of NMR spectra with the signal strength of ESR.
