Seek first to understand, then to be understood By: Alicia listen before you talk

What the 5th habit means listen to other people’s ideas and feelings. I try to see things from their viewpoints. I listen to others without interrupting. I am confident in voicing my ideas. I look people in the eyes when talking.

Things you should do? Listen first to understand someone. Then make sure the person understands you. Then talk to each other about the situation.

Use your heart Listen and care for the person. And try to understand what they are trying to stay.

What to do to help someone. If the problem is the person is trying to find something and your trying to talk to them help the person look for it then socialize. Make sure you have manners also.

Use your ears to listen to someone who is speaking.

Use your mouth Use your mouth to get through the conversation your trying to have with the person who is trying to understand what your trying to say.
