Provided A.D.A. Accommodations This section focuses on ensuring that everyone has equal opportunity to participate in your activity. The University’s spaces are designed to accommodate patrons of all abilities. Questions regarding accessibility can be directed to the Campus Information Center in the Gengras Student Union Rm 205.

Accommodation & Accessibility The Sponsoring Organization, which sponsors an event is responsible for complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and in so doing, should be prepared to: Provide information in materials promoting the event regarding requests for accommodation, including contact information for those handling requests for accommodation Ensure that the department’s budget has accounted for the need to provide accommodations upon request; Make available / provide those accommodations or auxiliary aids, including interpreting services (on their own or in consultation with the Office of the Assistant Vice-President for Student Health and Wellness) Sponsoring Organizations are expected to consult with the Office of the Assistant Vice-President for Student Health and Wellness with questions regarding requests for accommodation, and to obtain referrals for service- providers who may assist in meeting such accommodation requests Promotional Items: A statement such as ―if you require special accommodations . . . should be places on all promotional materials Facilities: All Student Centers Administration managed & reserved facilities are accessible to all persons including those with mobility concerns
