Abundant Life The meaning of life in today’s world

In the Beginning… Genesis 1:1 Genesis 2:7 Genesis 2:15 Genesis 1:26-28 “be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it”

Can you imagine a perfect world? God created Adam and Eve and put them in a perfect garden to care for all of the living things. Genesis 2:17 “tree of knowledge of good and evil”

Sin Enters the World Genesis 3:1 Genesis 3:14-19 Romans 8:22 “the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain”

The world is in need of a Savior The rest of the Old Testament describes how God prepared a people to be His people and how a remnant survived up to the time of Jesus’ birth.

The Patriarchs & The Hebrews Genesis 6 Noah and the flood Abraham (Ch. 12) Isaac (Ch. 26) Jacob (Ch. 31) Exodus 1 The Hebrew nation Nehemiah 1:3 “the remnant” Daniel 2:38-45 an everlasting kingdom
