Faculty Champion Meeting Friday, December 11, 2009
From a student… Critical thinking is such an important aspect for a college student and in the workforce. Basic Writing has started me on the path of critical thinking. Each weekly assignment has forced me to give a lot of thought to the subject at hand. We were given quizzes and asked to respond and communicate with our peers. Before taking Basic Writing, I was worried that I just did not have what it takes for writing skills. I am learning and realizing that it is possible through critical thinking. This is a necessary attribute through college and also in the workplace for everyone.
