MOTOWN The genre of Motown has grew to an extent with many bands/artists till the 1980s. The rules of Motown loosened which made albums critically acclaimed and successful. Motown lost some hit makers including Norman Whitfield which made Motown fall off. Remnants of Motown still play today and have influenced current artists with their cool rhythms and catchy tones.
