2. There are 5 regions in the United States: southeast, northeast, west, midwest, southwest.

3. Louisiana is in the Southeast Region.

4. The states in the Southeast Region are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
