The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

What are we doing? We, as a group, are showing you all about the child’s right to shelter.

What is shelter? A shelter, as most of you know, is a safe place for people. It is a place that is watertight, warm, has a loving atmosphere and is somewhere you are safe.

Why everyone needs a shelter No one should be homeless as it can lead to suicide, depression and crime.

What we shouldn't see People who have a home but are not safe there People living in falling down houses People with no home and needing food People on the streets
