Breakfast Morning nutrition

what Breakfast is provided every morning

Why Apart from providing us with energy, breakfast foods are good sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fibre. The body needs these essential nutrients and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day.

When Students need to eat breakfast before going to their designated area Student are to eat before playing sports in the gym.

Do it It is extremely important that if you are not eating breakfast provided at school that you be eating something before you come.

why Breakfast is indeed a very important meal. A good breakfast fuels you up and gets you ready for the day. In general, kids and teens who eat breakfast have more energy, do better in school, and eat healthier throughout the day. Without breakfast, people can get irritable, restless, and tired.

Running behind? If you miss breakfast before morning dismissal to first period, BUT still arrive before the tardy bell, you are to tell your first period teacher that you are going to get a breakfast.

Late? If you arrive after the tardy bell, when checking in the front office tell them that you will be getting a breakfast and need that on your pass.

No Thank Yous are savable   You will be required to take items that cover different food groups. If there is something that you do not wish to eat, Please do not throw food away. Check with breakfast attendant to see what is savable. This food is saved for those who come too late to get breakfast

Disposal When done with breakfast dispose of materials in the appropriate bin. Trash in garbage barrel Pour fluids in fluid containers Recyclables in recycling bin This is your school, not a restaurant, put your things away where they go. – Go hawks!
