If you were the project leader for NASA, what would you have done differently at launch time? They called the company in Utah, talked, and took their recommendations. In the position would you have done the same? Well before launch an engineer was sent out to inspect the o-rings. He found problems. He was given no support for testing the o-rings. If you were in his shoes, what would you have done to gain that support and complete the needed testing. He felt isolated with no support. As project manager for the company, what would you do to remedy that. Keep in mind cost of testing, personnel to do the testing, etc.
