Our Typical Weekly Activities Flexible timetable Play: cycle of planning, observation and assessment. Collective Worship (daily) and RE Circle Time: teaching togetherness, imagination, listening skills; kindness and behaviour all through games and singing! Adult led phonics, literacy, mathematics, topic. Funky Fingers: getting the body ready for writing and developing motor skills. BIG writing: cursive letter formation. Flexible timetable so that we can respond to what the children show us they need. Play: Levels of child initiated “play” will change throughout the year.; especially as we near the end of Reception.
How Families can help at Home … Reading 5 times per week Self care/independence: dressing, gathering belongings ready for the day, using the loo, using cutlery. Passport Maths packs (January) Star Slips
