Table 2 Please turn to page 315.

This page is Number 1 grouping of windows. The next step is to know which ‘Type of Frame Construction’ you have. But it has 3 subdivisions. Now you will be able to select the correct ‘U’ value. Do not be concerned about the SHGC value, only the ‘U’ value. So make sure you know the type of glass you have.

EXAMPLE: If you had a ‘Clear, Heat Absorbing or Reflective Glass’ you would go to Number 1 grouping of windows. If you had ‘Metal with Break’ Type of Frame Construction’ you would go to this section. If you had ‘Clear Glass’ you would go to this section. Now you can select the ‘U’ Value. If you had ‘Double pane operable Window or sliding Glass door’ you would go to this section.
