OUR PLACE Royal Botanical Gardens By Juliet

Built/Established The Royal Botanical Gardens was established in 1846 by Lieutenant Governor Charles La Trobe .

Used for The Royal Botanical Gardens is used for displaying plants, walks, exercising, picnics, weddings.

Features Some of the Royal Botanical Garden’s features are: Guilfoyle’s Volcano- an historic water reservoir with views of the city The Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden Lakes and islands Shelter and rest houses Tropical glasshouse- this stores tropical plants Sculptures

Importance The Royal Botanical Gardens is important because it provides protection of many plants, shelter for wildlife and it is an important resource for education.
