Presentation transcript:

Learning to Read Hebrew In Modules 2 - 6, the basic building blocks developed in Module 1 are applied to combinations of small groups of Hebrew letters and vowels to generate Hebrew vocabulary. The resultant vocabulary is then used as reading exercises – first with just single words and followed with simple sentences constructed out of these words. There is the matter of placing the accent on the correct syllable in multi-syllabic words. As noted in the Introduction to Module 1, this is a rather complex topic that will be revisited at a later time. Until then, the accented syllable in a multi-syllabic word will be shown in the standard black font and the rest of the word will be shown in a different color.
