DID YOU KNOW KNOWLEDGE IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THAN DEXTERITY IN CONFINED SPACES. Working smartly in confined spaces such as tanks, vessels, and more, is crucial to working safely. That starts with identifying the space and putting warning signs on it. Some confined spaces require a permit to enter, and before doing so individuals must be properly trained and provided with personal protection equipment. Plans should also be in place for rescue team availability and the atmosphere in a confined space must be tested before entry is permitted. To stay safe in confined spaces, be sure you’ve done all you should to know before you go. At Halliburton, solving customer challenges is second only to keeping everyone safe and healthy. You can find more safety tips at www.halliburton.com/HSE Confined Space The Halliburton 10 to Zero Life Rules are a compilation of basic rules that all Halliburton employees know and live by. These are key components for identifying and managing the hazards in our business. © 2013 Halliburton. All rights reserved.
