27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series In order to meet the market demand, FANUC has developed a series of industrial robot products since 1974, such as handling robots, welding robots, assembly robots, painting robots and so on. The following is a brief description of the main models of FANUC robots (the specific parameters of the specifications to FANUC officially announced the date).

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series M-2iA/3S M-2iA series are the medium-sized parallel link robots for high speed picking and assembly. M-2iA/3S robot is a total 3 axes robot with single axis rotation at wrist with 3kg payload, as shown in Figure 7-2. Figure 7-2 M-2iA/3S Robot

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series M-2iA/3S It is suitable for high speed picking of plenty work pieces on the conveyor while aligning direction of each work piece. Moreover, it can withstand a high pressure stream cleaning with IP69K of enclosed mechanical unit and contribute to the automation in the food market. Lastest intelligent functions can be applied to M-2iA/3S robot with using vision sensor(iRVision) of force sensor.

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series M-410iB/160 M-410iB series are the intelligent palletizing robots which contribute for robotalization of palletizing system. M-410iB/160 robot is a high speed type with 160kg payload, as shown in Figure 7-3. Customer can use the latest intelligent function of iRVision and ROBOGUIDE, such as detection of height of workspieces, discrimination of a size or a kind, visual inspection and depalletizing the load on a received pallet. Figure 7-4 ARC Mate 120iC Robot Unit 7 FANUC Robot 27 Part2 FANUC robot product series ARC Mate 120iC ARC Mate 120iC is torch cable integrated arc welding robot whose payload is 20kg, as shown in Figure 7-4. High rigidity arm and advanced servo technology enable to increase its acceleration performance. This decreases cycle time and realizes high productivity. The unique drive mechanism in wrist axies realizes the slim arm in torch cable integrated robot. Thanks to stable hand cable management, off-line teaching function by ROBOGUIDE reduces teaching time of the robot. Figure 7-4 ARC Mate 120iC Robot

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series M-900iA/260L M-900iA/260L is a heavy payload and long arm type robot which has a 260kg payload capacity and 3.1m maximum reach, as shown in Figure 7-5. It enables faster long-distance transfer of large workpieces, such as transferring car body and setting large casting on machining fixture. The wrist can be uesd safely in adverse environments because it has IP67-equivalent resistance to environmental conditions(dust and dips). Figure 7-5 M-900iA/260L Robot

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series P-250iB P-250iB is the most flexible and advanced six-axis paint robot available on the market, as shown in Figure 7-6. The P-250iB is adaptable in its mounting configuration to accommodate the most demanding of painting applications. Figure 7-6 P-250iB Robot

The optional on-arm pneumatic enclosure provides the ability to mount FANUC robotics’ approved components crucial to overall performance and paint quality within the inner arm.

27 Unit 7 FANUC Robot Part2 FANUC robot product series CR-35iA CR-35iA is a 35kg payload collaborative robot that can work in cooperation with a human operator, as shown in Figure 7-7. The robot and a human operator can work together within a shared workspace, for example, heavy workpieces transfer and parts assembling, without safety fences. Figure 7-7 CR-35iA Robot

Safe and gentle looking green soft cover reduces an impact force and prevents a human operator from being pinched. CR-35iA is certified to meet the requirements of international standard ISO 10218-1.It is designed with the same high reliability as conventional robots.
