A - Answer JFK was correct in getting involved with King’s prison release.

Prove “Though Kennedy had originally feared that helping King would hurt his election chances, in the end it may, in fact, have won him the race.”

Explain Although JFK may have feared losing the 1960 presidential election since he helped King, he and his vice presidential running mate, Lyndon B. Johnson, learned the valuable lesson of the power of the black vote.
