Project 10: Innovative IoT Applications in Scientific Research and Consumer Market REU Student: Nathalie Domingo Graduate mentors: Kelvin Ly and Kaveh Shamsi Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Zhang and Dr. Jin Week 5 (June 20 – June 24, 2016) Accomplishments: Set up the new raspberry pi: Wi-Fi, remote access, automatic tasks (Cron), etc. Got chromium to work Transferring files attack works on both phones with USB protocol and mtp Install app attack almost works Decided on our next project and compiled a list of materials we need Issues/problems encountered and solutions (if any): GL kernel missing on OS chip using, downloaded and used new OS webGL did not want to work (GPU not initialized) and can’t be implemented for our project, found a new way to do the install app attack Install app attack does not want to work with Cron Can’t email with an attachment more than 25MB, using google drive instead Plans for next week: Demo Bad Battery Start new project
