Attendance Please make sure students are on time every single day. Students are considered tardy at 7:46. Students are considered absent by 8:00. Make sure to send in a written note for any transportation changes that morning.
Homework/Weekly tests Please make sure homework is completed every single night. Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday. Every Friday students will have a reading, language, and vocab test! Practice reading tests We will make sure to provide study guides 5-7 days in advance.

Accelerated Reader We are continuing this program this year. Please make sure students have two AR books at all time. (one should be a chapter book) Have them prepared to take quizzes in the morning as part of morning work!

Class dojo Our behavior management system this year will be Class Dojo. If you have not received an invitation, please let us know! Behaviors will pop up directly to your electronic device. Daily messages are sent such as homework reminders, upcoming events, class behavior concerns, etc. Also has the ability to private message without having to exchange phone numbers. Quiet Time

Extra Credit Extra credit is not offered in either class. Please make sure there is consistency with homework and studying. If students are struggling, we will make sure we are working with them in small groups and remediating as needed.
