FLEET MAINTENANCE DIVISION Mission Statement FLEET MAINTENANCE DIVISION CITY GARAGE MISSION STATEMENT It is the mission of the Fleet Maintenance Division (City Garage) to maintain the City of Clarksville’s fleet in the most efficient and cost effective method possible. 2017 Goals Provide improved fuel distribution, tracking and reporting of fuel usage to all City Departments. Improve efficiency in the procurement of repair parts by completive parts procurement methods. All repair and maintenance technicians to be ASE certified in their relevant categories. Reduce the damage to vehicles and equipment, caused by employee negligence or abuse, by improved tracking and reporting of incidents.

Overview The City Garage facilitates vehicle repair and maintenance on all City-owned vehicles, including those belonging to public safety. The City Garage also performs general maintenance on all City-owned equipment, including, but not limited to: Excavators, Dozers & Backhoes Paving Equipment, to include large milling machine & paver Tractors and Bush hogs Large and small Water Removal pumps Large portable Air Compressors & Jack Hammers Zero-Turn Mowers Hand held landscaping equipment Total equipment inventory of 2465 pieces, averaging 325 completed work orders per month.
