Topographical Why are they used? Used by anyone that needs an accurate description of earth’s surface. They show what the ground looks like By who? Campers, hikers, hunters, fishers, urban developers What is on it? Toponymy, including names of places, bodies of water and highways Reliefs, including mountains, valleys and plateaus Waters, including oceans, lakes, streams, rivers Cities
