Education Around the World Gather information about the education systems in 5 countries around the world Do not do the U.S. 4 of your countries should be from different continents (South America, Europe, Africa, & Asia) See Mrs. Matello for list!

Education Around the World Information to include Worldwide Ranking Literacy Rate Cultural view of education Overview of education requirements How many years of school are required Does gender matter? How? Cost? Range of ages for school children Length of school year? School day? Opportunities for post secondary education? Picture of a typical school building/classroom

Project Requirements Format: PPT or Prezi Each country should be on it’s own slide (you can have more than 1 slide per country) Citations - At least 1 source per country Cite each website you use using the following format: Organization. “Website/Page Title.” Date you accessed website. Link. Cite each article (magazine or newspaper) using the following format): Author Last Name, First Name. “Article Title.” Name of magazine/newspaper, publication date. Accessed date. Link.
