3. Mongolia: SDG Data National level workshop on NSDS and SDGs Allow government agencies and other potential data producers’ to better understand their role in generating and compiling data for the SDGs Introduction and adoption of ADAPT to map national development indicators and SDGs towards integration in the national planning process and the NSDS. The Government of Mongolia is currently working on aligning their Sustainable Development Vision 2030 and National Development Plan 2016-2030 with the SDGs. In support of this endeavour, PARIS21 in partnership with the Mongolia National Statistics Office and the National Development Agency conducted a Workshop on NSDS and SDGs to broaden the understanding of government agencies and other potential data producers’ role in generating and compiling data for the SDGs.  PARIS21 presented the Advanced Data Planning Tool (ADAPT) to various statistics stakeholders to aid in properly mapping national development indicators of the Sustainable Development Vision 2030 and National Development Plan 2016-2020 with SDG indicators.  The NSO of Mongolia, in partnership with the national development agency, have operationalized the ADAPT following the establishment of targets and national indicators. The results of the ADAPT will serve as basis for integrating relevant SDG data activities in the national planning process and the NSDS.
