Our Expectations Of God God’s Expectations Of Us 1. Provide for us: 1. Provide for self: Food, Shelter, Clothing We have his promise, but we also must work. The little *extras* Treasure is where your heart is. Money, Money, Money! Money is the root of all evil. 2. Hear/Answer our prayers: 2. Pray without ceasing: We speak and expect God to listen…. and answer! God expects us to pray. Prayer will work, but His will be done. Health, Wealth, and whatever else. God expects us to study, teach, and obey. The good stuff: Wisdom, Knowledge, Forgiveness. We must put God first. 3. Heaven We must obey God. We expect an eternity in heaven. We must come in contact with the blood of Christ. We have not seen, but believe. Life should be easy, fun, and then get better!

God’s expectations to enter Heaven Hear: Rom 10:17: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Believe: Jn. 8:24: Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” Repent: Luke 13:3: “…unless you repent you will all likewise perish” Confess: Mt 10:32: Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven Baptized: GAL. 3:27: For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ROM 6:4: we were buried with Him through baptism into death
