Great Clips – Prophix story Operating since: 1982 Head office: Minneapolis, Minnesota Annual revenue: > $1 billion Number of employees: 30,000 G/L or ERP: Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft FRx Reporter Company website: www.greatclips.com Company background: With more than 3,300 salons throughout the United States and Canada, Great Clips is the world’s largest salon brand. Great Clips salons employ nearly 30,000 stylists who receive ongoing training to learn advanced skills and the latest trends. Business problems that lead to evaluating CPM, adopting Prophix: They were using FRx Forecaster and decided to look because they would lose support and they were not getting what they needed. They use Microsoft Dynamics NAV and FRx Reporter. They were looking for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. They last upgraded Forecaster in 2008. Their budgeting tool is not integrated to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. They want to budget year over year and cannot. They use spreadsheets as a result. Budget actuals are in NAV. They want more functionality. Currently dealing with huge error issues and duplicating efforts across their organization. They do not want the complexities and costs of Oracle Hyperion or IBM Cognos. They did not see many options in the mid range like Prophix. It was either Budget Maestro level or Prophix.

Great Clips – Prophix story Early plans for their Prophix solution: They want to push last year’s numbers out to franchises with a 2 or 3% increase. Currently have to do a manual load to do that. They need to reflect rent changes and current actuals are not available. They are very interested in Allocations. Industry-specific key business drivers evaluated: Future plans:
