Purpose (continued) To register our lack of understanding of some bylaws or regulations to the Board To schedule a Special General Meeting in January 2018 to discuss further
Principles We support the Board’s success We support the Board and Membership by studying our revised 2017 Bylaws & Regulations We accept the things we cannot change; we change the things we can; and we appeal to the wisdom of other members in understanding the difference
Guidelines We share our interpretations of the Bylaws and listen attentively to others We don’t judge other’s opinions We don’t assign motives to other neighbors We demonstrate courtesy and respect
Guidelines (continued) We contribute to the safety of the group by not repeating what someone has said outside the context of our discussion We avoid ‘storytelling’ of past grudges
Guidelines (continued) We are starting ‘anew’ as a community with a revised Bylaw & Regulation package Marion as facilitator; Abe as time-keeper No one is an ‘expert’ in interpreting the 2017 Bylaws and 2016 Societies Act We’re dealing with the ‘NOW’ For continuity, we unanimously agree to meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm weekly in the Hall
