Popular Professions and my future Designed by Svetlana K. Form: 8 V Center of Education

Introduction. The ideas of this project tells you about various professions and my future job. The aims of our project are to tell you about the most popular modern professions. Contents Theoretical part: Professions and my future. (1.Doctor, 2.Vet, 3.Teacher, 4. Chef, 5. Model, 6. Fireman, 7. Interpreter) Sources of information. Practical part: Questions for discussion.

Doctor. Family doctor is a doctor who diagnostics various diseases and can also give some advice and treat the members of one family.

Vet. This profession is very complex and responsible. Because people working as veterinaries are responsible for lives off all animals. They should do all possible to rescue animals.

Teacher. Teachers play an important role in fostering the intellectual and social development of children during their formative years. Teachers act as facilitators or coaches, using classroom presentations or individual instruction to help students to learn and apply concepts in subjects such as science, mathematics, or English. They plan, evaluate, and assign lessons; prepare, administer, and grade tests; listen to oral presentations; and maintain classroom discipline.

Chef. Chefs cook food, a wide range of mealsfrom soups, snacks, and salads to entrees, side dishes, and desserts. They work in a variety of restaurants and other food services establishments. Chefs and cooks create recipes and prepare meals, while food preparation workers peel and cut vegetables, trim meat, prepare poultry, and perform other duties, such as keeping work areas clean and monitoring temperatures of ovens and stovetops.

Model. information about the history of the modeling business, about its structure, characters and peculiarities, acquaintance with the principles of the international fashion industry; working rules of the professional models, the essential principles of the etiquette, the discipline as a necessary condition for the qualified work in the modeling business ;

Fireman. It is a very dangerous job. People who work with fire, risk their life when rescue others.

Interpreter is my future profession…

Conclusion. In my opinion the profession of an interpreter is one of the most important and indispensable in the present- day business world. All large transnational corporations which have their sister companies all over the world implement their business-like co-operation with the help of interpreters. An interpreter is an indispensable conferee, his services are essential when effecting a business transaction. But an interpreter, of course, is not an independent conferee; he cant express his own opinion and points of view. He plays a role of an instrument with whose help business negotiations precede in the most effective way. The best interpreter is that who is imperceptible at a dialogue and at the same time provides this dialogue in such a manner that business partners start to think that they communicate with each other on the language clear for both of them.

Sources of Information The Internet

Practical part: Questions for discussion 1.What profession do you like best of all? 2.Whom do you wish to become in future? 3.What is pleasant for you in your future profession?
