Presentation transcript:

Orthogonal Drawings Orthogonal drawings are 2d drawings of 3d objects created by orthographic projection. Orthogonal: intersecting or lying at right angles. Orthographic projection is a means of representing a three dimensional object in two dimensions. It is a form of parallel projection, where the view direction is orthogonal to the projection plane. Orthogonal viewing is contrasted with perspective viewing, in which the apparent scale of an object decreases according to its distance from the viewer.
