Is the University of Dayton a marker of division between north and south?
Since I moved to Dayton, people have told me that the University of Dayton is a strong dividing line in the region. They particularly claim that real estate south of UD is much more expensive than that from north of campus Is this perception- or reality?
In the attached data set, I have used the website Zillow to collect data on real estate north and south of the University of Dayton campus. I selected the first 25 homes that were at least 3 bedroom single family homes for sale (not in foreclosure- red, not blue) Link https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/globalrelevanceex_sort/39.761542,-84.114718,39.715077,-84.218574_rect/13_zm/
Use your skills as data analysts to test the null hypothesis that houses north and south of the University of Dayton are equal in real estate value. Develop a report of your data analysis approach and turn in all pertinent figures and analysis output. Include a paragraph detailing the methods and results of your study.
