Areas of outstanding natural beauty near Topola Królewska By Zuzanna Kubiak, Lidia Majda and Katarzyna Oleska, from Junior High School in Topola Królewska, Year 2

Elm pedunculate in Leźnica Mała There is a magnificent elm in Leźnica Mała. Every year First Graders from primary school in Leźnica comes and measures how big is the tree.

This enourmous tree grows near the church, so everyone can see it every day. People from Leźnica are very proud of their ‘own’ nature monument.

Oak Szypułkowy „Urszula” in Moraków „Huge tree in small village ” - Moraków near Topola Królewska. Nobody remembers how old is the tree! „Urszula” has got very thick trunk. This oak is 27 meters high! .

. „Urszula” is also a unique natural monument. The members of local community feel awarded,that as small village as Moraków is, has got this giant tree!

Fall in love with Linden avenue

Linden avenue… Linden avenue is a majestic natural monument in Gawrony near Topola Królewska. Over 166 trees grow in Linden avenue! We’ve counted them all .

‘Nature 2000’ near Topola Królewska in a nutshell .

Nature 2000 is a type of protection of species habitats in European Union. The valley of river Bzura near Topola Królewska is also the part of Nature 2000. You can see there a wide variety of rare animals, plants and interesting amphibians as well, for instance: eagles, lipiennik Loesela, Great Crested Newt. If you are lucky, you can also meet there roe – deers. We were lucky - can you see them? 
