Notes for a LLRF Plan for Development and Testing of Controls/Diagnostics

Sector 0 RF System Installation of components (Master Amplifier and PEP Phase Shifter) in October down time. Testing and commissioning during October down time – required to bring PEP online

Sector 20 RF Reference System The LCLS RF reference system exists separate from the existing RF reference system The pick off for the reference is from the Main Drive Line above the RF Hut. Installation will begin at completion of RF Hut Cables in tunnel will be pulled during 2006 down

Klystron RF Station A Klystron on the linac can be used as a test station for commissioning the RF system as long as the linac is operational.

PPS Items A PPS system needs to be completed and certified before we can turn on LCLS off axis injector klystrons. PPS issues with standby times on klystrons need to be evaluated.

Other Notes RF systems can be turned on without new control system Software development will continue through commissioning
