National Skill Development Systems Includes Qualification frameworks Quality assurance of training and recognition • Development of industry standards to underpin training

National Skill Development Strategies Access and equity - consideration for groups disadvantaged in training and employment Development and implementation of Core Skills • Addressing skill shortages and gaps plus accelerating development to meet industry demands

Training and Assessment Delivery Implementing the best training methodologies – blended learning, E-learning…. Encouraging and supporting workplace learning approaches – apprenticeships, mentoring • Assessment only recognition pathways • Informal economy development

Sharing Current Approaches National skill development systems, strategies and training and assessment delivery approaches can benefit from the experiences of others. Many countries have developed effective ways to improve skill development and the ILO supports networking and information access to share ideas
