Christians are monotheists Father Creator Judge Omniscient Impersonal God is….. Personal Omnipotent Omnipresent Benevolent Anthropomorphism is explaining using human images. Christians are monotheists

God who is father – the transcendent creator God who is Holy Spirit – immanent, but impersonal, the way God inspires and guides Christians every day God who is son – Jesus who is immanent and personal, who came to earth and lived a human life God who is father – the transcendent creator Christians believe that God is made of three parts or ‘persons’. This is called the Trinity. This means that there are three ways of God being God:

Reason to believe in God? The ontological argument (Anselm) The cosmological argument (Aquinas) The teleological argument (Paley) The moral argument The argument from religious experience e.g. Miracles, Conversion, answered prayers, numinous. Miracles are an event which breaks the laws of nature e.g. healing, nature, exorcisms, raising the dead.

God is... The Trinity – One God, Father, Son, Holy Spirit God is... Perfect Judge Eternal Omnipresent Omnibenevolent Omniscient Omnipotent God is... Treatment of criminals Immanent Transcendent
