Winding the Bobbin Place thread on spool pin

Wrap thread around bobbin thread guide

Run the thread through the bobbin. Come up through the middle and out through the top. Bobbin

Place bobbin on bobbin winder and push bobbin all the way to the right.

Disengage the needle by holding the inner part of the hand wheel in place while turning the outer part toward you. Inner part being held in place by left hand. Outer part being turned toward you. Similar to loosening a lid on a jar.

Hold thread on bobbin straight up and press on the foot pedal. Thread should be wrapping around bobbin and the needle should be still.

With thread still on spool pin, wrap thread around first thread guide. Threading the Machine With thread still on spool pin, wrap thread around first thread guide. First thread guide

Run the thread down to the second thread guide and back up to the take-up lever. Take up lever Second thread guide

Going in from the right side, place thread behind third thread guide.

Eye of the needle Run the thread through the eye of the needle. Pull thread through the back of the needle.

Place thread off to the left of the machine Open the bobbin case and Remove the metal bobbin holder

Hold the bobbin holder so the metal bar is facing left. Hold the bobbin so the thread is to the right (or going clockwise).

Drop bobbin in bobbin holder. Run thread through this slit. Continue to run thread through this thread guide and out the opening.

Once the two threads have looped, run your shears from right to left under the presser foot until you have two threads.

Pull the two threads behind the machine. Your machine is ready to sew…remember to always practice on scraps first!
