Study of Remote Reviews Determine Cost Savings Quality of Review Gained through Remote Review Lost through Remote Review Process … Onsite Review Followed by a Remote Review Feedback from Jurisdiction and PRC The purpose and scope of this study is to determine any cost saving measures that would result through the conduct of remote reviews versus the current on-site process; to determine if the quality and integrity of the process changes during a remote review and the current training opportunities would be enhanced or diminished, and to what degree. Noted concern, the need for Explanation and Verification of information is essential to ensure a successful peer review for all jurisdictions.

Remote Reviews Past Current Study Future One Remote Review – WV May 2010 Board Meeting Current Study Iowa Ontario Future January 2011 Board Meeting Iowa’s review was held September 8th – 9th (Remote is scheduled for the week of October 11th ) Ontario’s review will be October 6th – 7th (Remote date is yet to determined) Report due to Board in January
