A Card Trick for Your Pleasure Bob and Maryann

Please select a card and concentrate on your selection. Do not click the card under any circumstances. When you have memorized your card, please click the mouse to advance to the next slide.

This is the important part. Talk to your computer and whisper as softly as you can the card you have selected. Click the mouse to go to the next slide.

We have selected your card and removed it from the pile. We hope you enjoyed the trick and that you find our book useful. (Unfortunately, the text does not explain our mind-reading prowess.)

The solution... Look closely at the two groups of cards, which were copied from the slides in the presentation. The cards in each group are completely different, so no matter which card you choose, it will not appear on the last slide. Click here to return to the card trick
