We read some fun books about squirrels, counted corn (or maize!) in ten frames, discussed fiction and non-fiction books, and we practiced our color words in an adorable squirrel coloring. Next week we will focus on Thanksgiving and we celebrate our upcoming holiday with a Turkey Trot day on the 17th which focuses on language arts skills in fun, Turkey themed stations. The Sign-Up Genius link for volunteering was emailed out by Mrs. Reilly. Your child’s progress report will also be coming home on the 17th. We can discuss any questions you may have when we meet during our conference time. I look at the progress report as a chance to celebrate your child’s accomplishments!
