What is a P-Card? 1. It is a Visa Credit Card issued by the Bank of America. 2. The credit card is issued in the name of the employee that will be using the card. 3. It is a fast and flexible purchasing tool. P-Card
Who Should Use the P-Card? 1. An SBBC employee that has been approved by their principal, department head or Designee 1. a) Bookkeeper b) Budgetkeeper P-Card 1 Hereafter Collectively referred to as Designee.
Why should Schools and Departments use a P-Card? 1. Faster and easier way to obtain Supplies. 2. REQ or PO is not Required. 3. Reduces the turnaround time on the delivery of goods and services. P-Card
What can be purchased on a P- Card? 1.Supplies and Services that cost less than $1,000 per line item. 2.Examples - Postage, subscriptions, Film Processing, printed materials, etc. P-Card
Who can approve purchases with a P-Card? 1. A SBBC Principal, department head or designee (i.e., designee). P-Card
How do we sign up? 1.Complete an Application. 2.Have Designee sign the Application. 3.Send the Application to Purchasing a)Attn: Carmelo Guerra – P-Card Administrator P-Card

How long should it take to receive your card? You should receive your card in 2-3 weeks from the time Purchasing receives your signed Application. P-Card
