Risk of Preterm Birth According to Maternal and Paternal Country of Birth: A Population- Based Study  Alison L. Park, MSc, Marcelo L. Urquia, PhD, Joel G. Ray, MD, MSc  Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada   Volume 37, Issue 12, Pages 1053-1062 (December 2015) DOI: 10.1016/S1701-2163(16)30070-6 Copyright © 2015 Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada Terms and Conditions

Figure 1 Adjusted odds ratios for preterm birth<37 weeks (Figure 1A), late preterm birth from 34 to 36 weeks (Figure 1B), and very preterm birth<32 weeks (Figure 1C) for infants whose parents are both foreign-born from the same country versus infants whose parents are both Canadian-born (the referent). Odds ratios are adjusted for maternal age, paternal age, parity, marital status, income quintile, infant sex and twin pregnancy. Data “suppressed” for those with<5 very preterm births.
