OMAF / MRA /UofG Partnership Production Systems – Plants One of 8 research themes under the partnership Other themes related to plants include: Environmental Sustainability BioEconomy Agriculture and Rural policy Includes field crops and horticultural crops Focus is on production research and profitable agriculture. Can incorporate other themes to support industry competitiveness. Priorities include: Plant protection Production Efficiency Genetic technologies Product quality / diversification Environmental Impact We expect to have a research day that focuses on fruit and vegetables in the fall
