Stations organization within SNCF Managing real estate assets for the 165 main stations in France Leading the production resources dedicated to in-terminal services (except for ticket sales) 2 complementary assignments: The Station management Maintenance of station spaces and facilities Assistance to train operators and customers The Development and maintenance of Station assets Identifying asset development policy options Managing expansion and development projects Managing the station real estate assets.

High speed Station: « Stars » stations 12 new high speed stations built in the last years, among which 7 have more than 1 million travelers / year (4 more than 2 million) 3 in construction for East European TGV, 2 in project for Rhine – Rhone TGV High potential stations : Long-haul distance (average 600km), An important share of 1st class customer (up to 40%) Developed catchment area (up to 200 Km) Customers needs similar to those of airports customer situated in the catchment area Strong demand in term of environment, of quality of out-skirt, of waiting comfort especially on platforms and of services Nevertheless High Speed Trains mainly stop into stations situated on the classic network => these stations must reach an adequate quality standard

Accessibility and Intermodality: two peculiar features Located out of the centers of towns, high speed stations should propose enhanced services in term of: Parking : road signalization, number of car places, comfortable usage, security, easily accessible from the station, Public transports : road correspondances with busses (up to two hours from the station), urban transportation, easy pedestrian access, and in some case airport links. Cars rental : very high demand (i.e.; : Avignon TGV 2nd station in France for cars rental) Kiss and drive area > An integrated global project agreed upon by the public authorities in order to place the high speed station within the townland the regional territory

Ticket sales and Customer Information The new ticketing space: A one to one friendly relation A tutor to help customers in peak time All sales facilities accessible for handicap-bearing citizens Free services devices more accessible: Flat screen at a right level Basement shape allowing citizen in wheelchair to easily buy their tickets A dynamic customer information A web site for each station allowing tailor-made travel planning WIFI technology to provide precise information to every travelers Clearer TFT information screens better distributed within the station and more prompt, Multi-linguistic information Continuous production of immediate news updates in real time

Services and retails: a lively station Two differentiating factors : The time spent in the station: an average 40 to 60 minutes, due to significant cautious delay for long distance The « second » station Another option to the center of Paris, heavily congested Only lively place within a scarcely populated area Corresponding ad-hoc products: More significant dimension of reception and assistance services Specific attention to the facility management: cleaning, toilets (with high utilization rate) even paying ( 5 time the average) A mix of shops and food point with higher image and strong average content

Check-in and boarding procedures: a secure and friendly access to the train High speed stations are designed in order to allow: Tickets reading, indeed tickets control Customers welcome before get into the train For that, platforms access must be unique Advantage for the customer: Total security on board (no person without ticket) Fast, friendly and efficient contact in order to reassure customers during a crucial moment of their travel Advantage for the company: Less fraud More security on the platforms and in the station A targeted and faster control on board

Next future: East European TGV Stations 3 news stations in construction: These stations are built out of the centers of the towns in order to serve more urban areas at the same time: Champagne-Ardenne TGV close to Reims Meuse TGV, close to Verdun Lorraine TGV between Metz and Nancy A faster service than go through the center of the town .

Next future: East European TGV Stations 24 renovated stations, among which 2 main projects: Paris Est Station - Reorganization of the center of the station and of the two halls - Modernization of customer services area (customer information, ticketing space, information and waiting area, left-luggage and lost property office, toilets) - Development of a Frequent travelers lounge - Retails restructuring (3200m2 -> 5200m2) - Budget : 52 M€ ( 40 M€ SNCF and 12M€ Altarea) Strasbourg - Creation of a 3rd hall and of a 3rd underground access to the platforms - Modernization of customer services area - Creation of 2 new ticketing spaces - Creation of a concourse : construction of a glass wall, development of the commercial gallery, extension of the parking - Budget : about 30 M€ (about 50% of personal SNCF funds)
