The Danish Social Partners as Actors in Development Chief Advisor Marie Gad Welcome to the Confederation of Danish Industry: Who we are and what we do. Presented by DI.

Denmark's largest business association Relevance: Reasons to be a member of DI Organisations choose DI membership for four key reasons:   Interest organisation - membership in DI means influence. We serve corporate interests at the local, national and European level. We impact political decision making that affects business competitiveness and growth opportunities. We accomplish this through opinion formation, media contact, information campaigns, conferences, etc. (topics range from labour and tax to internationalisation, climate and integration). Employers’ association - we represent employer interests and negotiate the largest collective agreements on behalf of the Danish labour market. Service provider – we act as a sparring partner for businesses and offer a wealth of knowledge, advice and services. We seek to ensure that companies take full advantage of the benefits they receive as our members. Our focus is on the individual company's specific needs. Each day we advise hundreds of member companies on everything from employment law, salary, leadership, CSR, supplier management to corruption and more. We also accompany Danish companies around the world, for example on export trade missions. Lastly, we provide a network to strengthen the collegial unity amongst members.
