Meet the Teacher Experience teaching all grades from Preschool-Grade 8 Over 16 years teaching experience This is my 5th year teaching at SSPJ Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education , St. Joseph’s College ~Certified Elementary Ed. Birth-6th Master’s Degree in Literacy, Dowling College ~Certified Literacy Birth-6th Currently completing requirements for Special Education (Birth-6th)

4th Grade Homework Given Monday-Thursday Homework could be assigned on a Friday only if the project was previously assigned and it is due on Monday (to allow more time for students to complete) It is the students responsibility to write HW down daily Read for at least 20 minutes each night Study the study guides with your child Please review students homework and provide assistance if needed

Classroom Procedures Absence- Parents can request for work to be picked up from the office or it can be sent home with a sibling. Provide your child with an absence note when they return. Change in Dismissal- Please send in a note stating your child’s dismissal for the day- ex. Walker Note. Birthdays- Parents can request a day to celebrate your child’s birthday in class by note or email. Parent Volunteers- Forms will be sent home when fieldtrips and events are arranged. Volunteer information will be available at that time. Test Folders- Please sign and return as soon as possible.
