Purpose of CNTs on the mesoporous materials Outline catalyst metal Vertically Aligned CNTs Pore size : 7~8Å Catalytic zeolite Adhesion layer + Substrate Example of kinds of AlPO4-5 as zeolite 1. AlPO4-5 (IUPAC CODE AFI) possesses a system of parallel channels which are free from cations. 2. The existence of linear Al-P-O angles fund in the hexagonal structures of the earlier works gave reason for subsequent studies focused on whether they are average angles as a consequence of disorder of the oxygen around Al-P axis or they are actually the angles presented in this material 3. The inner diameter of the channel is 0.73nm, and the distance between two neighboring parallel channels is 1.36nm.

How to get the CNTs on the zeolite support? Almost no SWNTs growth by PECVD 1.Method of impregnation O Al P A l Stand plasma effect Impregnation sublimation Channel type CVD method Channel Zeolite Catalytic materials as zeolite CNTs growth by PECVD Analysis Ion exchange Cavity type stirring or sonication Solution method 2.Method of Ion exchange O Al i S A l - M + No stand plasma effect Cavity CNTs growth by Thermal CVD Mixing of H2 at high temp. Almost no vertically aligned SWNTs
